Biography

A three-year captain at Fountain Valley High School, Bitzer earned second team All-Sunset League honors as a senior. Bitzer also earned the Coaches'' Award twice in four years from head coach Ron Laruffa. He helped the Barons to 35 Sunset League wins in four years. A four-time Scholar-Athlete Award winner, Bitzer was a member of the honor roll all four years.
