A fifth-round draft pickof the St. Louis Cardinals in 2010, Longmire spent three seasons atPacific as a standout outfielder for the Tigers. As a junior,Longmire finished as the top hitter in all 24 Big WestConference games for Pacific. Longmire's .354 batting averageagainst conference opponents topped the team, while his overall.327 batting average tied for fourth among all Pacific players. Inconference, Nick also led the squad with his 34 hits in 24 games tolead the way for his 66 hits overall which were fourth-highest onthe team. He would finish his three-year career with a .346 averagehaving produced 14 home runs and 103 RBI. Longmire earned threeAll-Big West selections throughout his career and was also nameda 2008 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America.

Upon his selection bythe Cardinals, Longmire spent four years playing in the St. Louisminor league organization as part of four different teams whileadvancing to AA Springfield in 2013. In four seasons, Longmireposted a .240 average while tallying 31 home runs and 180 RBIincluding nine home runs and 46 RBI in his final season.

Longmire returned backhome in 2014 to Pacific to complete his degree and rejoined theTigers’ program as an undergraduate assistant. He has beencharged with working with the Tigers' outfielders and hitters whilepicking up the first base coaching duties for Pacific.
