J.B. returned home to Pacific priorto the start of the 2013-14 school year as the Tigers'undergraduate assistant for the 2014 season. He returns to hisroots after four seasons playing minor league baseball.

Brown was selected by the N.Y. Metsin the 14th round of the 2010 MLB June Amateur Draft afterthree seasons at Pacific. In his first year of pro ball withthe Brooklyn Cyclones, Brown batted .308 in 57 games with 12doubles, four triples and three home runs for the Mets Low-Aaffiliate in the New York-Pennsylvania League. Prior to turning pro, J.B. enjoyedan outstanding three-year career at Pacific. In 151 games as aTiger, Brown posted a .344 career batting average with 34 doublesand 14 home runs. His 84 hits in 2009 is tied for second in schoolhistory and despite just three years of college ball, Brown rankseighth in Pacific baseball history with 197 career hits.

J.B. is currently finishing hisdegree in communication and will look to graduate in May 2014.
