Biography

Junior (2011):
Larsen appeared in 17 games, 15 out of the Tigers’ bullpen with two starts. Posted a 1-3 record with a 4.58 ERA and a team-leading five saves, which ranked sixth in the Big West. Struck out 13 in 39.1 innings pitched, while walking just seven. Earned his first Pacific win in a 5-4 victory over UC Davis on May 8. Turned in three shutout innings with four runners allowed for his first Tigers’ save against USC on March 19. Struck out a season-high four with just two hits allowed in a 6.1 inning stint against Gonzaga. Tossed three innings of hitless ball against Long Beach State on April 2, and added two shutout innings with one hit allowed in a win over No. 17 UC Irvine on April 16. Earned the save in Pacific’s 8-7 win over No. 13 Cal State Fullerton on April 30, allowing one hit in 1.1 innings pitched.


Prior To Pacific (Chandler-Gilbert Community College):
Larsen went 5-4 as a starter for the Coyotes in 2010, turning in a 2.70 ERA in 87 innings of action in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference for coach Russ Luce.

High School:
A two-time Western Big Six Player of the Year, Larsen was an All-State honorable mention selection in Illinois after winning nine games in 10 decisions with a miniscule earned run average of just 0.70 as a senior with the Moline High School Maroon.

Personal:
Christopher C. Larsen, Jr. Son of Chris and Lorri Larsen. Has two siblings, younger brother Josh and older sister Jen, who played Division I softball at Northern Iowa. An education (Diversified) major, Larsen’s career plans are either teaching or denistry.
