Junior (2018):
Jekich played in 48 games, making 47 starts in his junior season. Against Santa Clara (5/6), he registered a career-high in hits with four. Against Arizona State (5/13), Jekich tied his career-high in runs with three. He registered a career-high in RBI (4) twice. Jekich closed out the season with 48 hits, 19 RBI, 27 runs scored, and a .282 batting average. In conference, Jekich finished in the Top-20 for on-base percentage (.386) and the Top-15 for walks (24). Jekich was named to the WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Treasure Valley Community College
Jekich finished near the top in hits, doubles, walks and stolen bases. The starting left fielder hleped TVCC to a NWAC East Regional Title in 2017.
High School
He led the Boise Capitals AA Legion team in back-to-back State Championships in 2015 and 2016. He ranked second in home runs and received First Team All-State honors following his junior (2015) and senior (2016) seasons. In 2014, Jekich helped the Capital Eagles to a State Championship.
Personal
Jekich is majoring in International Business and is minoring in Spanish. His other interests included fitness, golfing and basketball. He has a twin bother, Nolan, who plays baseball at Cal State East Bay in Hayward.
