University of the Pacific

Freshman (2017):
Hansen pitched 23 innings in his freshman year registering a 3.52 ERA, the lowest on the team. He struck out 17 batters and allowed only nine earned runs all season. Spent the majority of the season as a reliever. Started two games for Pacific, in which the team won both games he started against Seattle and UC Davis.

High School:
Hansen attended the Air Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado as a high schooler.  He was First Team All-Conference as a senior and Second Team as a junior.  Hansen was also named team MVP after his senior season.  At the plate, Hansen hit .492/.607/1.111 as a senior, leading the state in slugging and leading the Kadets in batting average and RBI.  He also pitched to a 3.00 ERA that year, going 6-2 with a complete game in his only start.  Hansen struck out 60 batters in his 49 innings as a senior and 16 more in 22.1 innings as a junior.

Personal:
A merit scholar in high school, Hansen is majoring in civil engineering at Pacific.  He has three younger siblings and is the son of Erik and Krystal.
