Agents & Advisors

The Pacific Athletics Department requires that agents and/or advisors register and receive approval from the Pacific Athletics Compliance Office prior to contact with any current University of the Pacific student-athletes. The program requires full compliance with Pacific Athletic Department policies, NCAA Bylaws (including any sport specific requirements), California law including, but not limited to the Miller Ayala Act, federal law, and the governing rules of professional sport organizations. Agents must register with the California Secretary of State and any applicable professional sport organizations.
 
An agent or advisor must register with the Pacific Athletics Compliance Office and receive written notification of his or her approval prior to communicating with University of the Pacific student-athletes. 
 
To complete the process, agents and advisors must:
 
Read the Pacific Athletics Agents and Advisors Policy
Submit the Pacific Athletics Agent and Advisors Registration Form and attach:
 
  • A copy of the Agent’s registration with the State of California, or notice of pending registration;
  • A copy of the Agent’s current and valid registration with any professional players organization(s), if applicable, (e.g., NBPA, NFLPA, MLBPA) and the NCAA (men’s basketball only);
  • A copy of the Agent’s current resume;
  • A copy of the Agent’s standard representation contract;
  • A recent headshot or photograph; and
  • A client list.
