Shelley Allmendinger Mahoney

Shelley Allmendinger Mahoney is remembered as one of Pacific's most remarkable softball players.

Recognized as one of the top pitchers in the nation, Shelley earned All-America honors as a freshman, leading the Tigers to the school's first-ever appearance in the NCAA College World Series in 1983, where her fastball was clocked at 67 MPH, the fastest of any pitcher at the event. The Tigers finished fifth at the College World Series.

On Pacific's all-time pitching records list, Allmendinger Mahoney ranks first in career wins (83), second in career earned run average (0.67), third in career shutouts (13), first in career games played (145), first in career innings pitched (864.1) and fifth in career strikeouts (386)

Eileen Dempster Howard

Eileen Dempster Howard earns induction into the Pacific Hall of Fame after an outstanding career in volleyball.

She was a three-time All-American for the Tigers, earning the honor in 1982, 1983 and 1984. In her final three years at Pacific, she helped lead the Tigers to an outstanding record of 101-20. After her time at Pacific, she was a member of the United States National Team from 1985-86.

Eileen helped the Tigers advance to three Final Four appearances (1981, '83 and '84). She ranks third on Pacific's career blocks list with 549, second in total blocks for a single season (207 in 1984), first in most blocks per game (1.80 in 1984), and is tied for second in total blocks for a single match (14 vs. UCLA on 11/11/84).

John Falls

John Falls is being inducted into the Pacific Athletic Hall of Fame as a contributor. John has served as a dedicated fundraising volunteer for over 30 years and he has consistently ranked in the Top Ten among more than fifty Fund Drive workers each year. He was a driving force and the visionary behind the successful development of the athletic department's new annual dinner - The Orange & Black Ball. Through John's leadership and hard work, over $50,000 has been raised each year during the auction phase of The Orange & Black Ball.

Bob Franceschini

Bob Franceschini earns induction into the Pacific Hall of Fame for his outstanding career as a lineman in football.

A four-year standout for the Tigers at the guard position, Franceschini was a two-time First Team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association selection, in both 1947 and 1948. He was also inducted into the Hall of Fame as a part of the 1949 football team, that was 11-0. He also earned "Little College" All-America honors in both 1948 and 1949. In 1948, Bob was honored with the Red Busher Award for the Outstanding Lineman at Pacific.

Willie Hector

Willie Hector was an outstanding dual sport athlete, Willie Hector is being inducted into the Pacific Athletic Hall of Fame as an outstanding performer in both football and track.

Hector was not only a fifth-round draft pick of the NFL's Los Angeles Rams in 1961, but was also named top Track and Field athlete for Pacific as a senior. He went on to play guard for the Los Angeles Rams and the Denver Broncos in the NFL, and was also a member of the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampede. Willie was a standout on the track team at Pacific, competing in a variety of events including the hurdles, high jump, long jump and the 100 yard dash. He was named Pacific's Outstanding Track Athlete in 1961.

Craig Schwartz

Craig Schwartz is honored as one of the top dual-sport aquatic athletes ever at Pacific.

Schwartz earned All-America honors in both swimming and water polo in 1975. He was also a recipient of the first President's Student-Athlete of the Year Award on May 10, 1977. Schwartz held the school record in the 200 backstroke for 22 years until it was finally broken by a Tiger swimmer in 1999.

Jeff Wilson

Jeff Wilson is inducted into the Hall of Fame as one of the top golfers in Pacific history.

He is one of only two two-time All-Americans ever at Pacific, earning the honor in both 1983 and 1984. Wilson placed 29th individually at the 1983 NCAA Championships. A three-time individual medalist, Wilson helped lead the Tigers to six tournament titles in his three seasons at Pacific. Jeff continues to excel at golf as he was the only amateur golfer to make the cut at the 2000 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. He was the co-medalist at the 2000 U.S. Amateur Championships in Baltusrol, N.J. and earned medalist honors in both 2000 and 2001 at the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.

Darrell Zimmerman

Darrell Zimmerman is honored as one of Pacific's most outstanding coaches, serving as the track and field coach at Pacific from 1965 to 1970.

He led the team to a dual record of 45-9 over the course of his career, including a record of 12-0 in 1968. In addition to the team success with Pacific, Zimmerman also coached five All-Americans.

1950 Men's Tennis Team

The 1950 men's tennis team earns induction into the Pacific Athletic Hall of Fame as one of the best Tiger teams ever.

Pacific won the California Collegiate Athletic Association title, finishing the season ranked third nationally with a record of 13-2. The 1950 team was led by four of the best players in college tennis at the time -- Clint Arbuckle, Don Hamilton, Hank Pfister and Darrell Winrich. Other members of the team were Bob Hall, Don Jacobus and Hobart Miller.
