EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENT-ATHLETES

Athletics representatives may employ current student-athletes during the academic year and vacation periods, provided the following conditions are met:

  • A student-athlete may only be paid for work actually performed and at a rate commensurate with the going rate in the area for similar services;
  • Student-athletes cannot be provided with any benefits not provided to other employees; and
  • Student-athletes must document all employment with Pacific’s Assistant Director of Compliance.
