Sunday in Lyon with Erica McKenzie and Brianna Johnson.
"We got to Lyon yesterday, and with the long bus ride and our game - we won, that was good - we didn't really have much time to sight see. We started early, as we walked into breakfast. Not only was the food incredible, but the hotel dining room is on the top floor and the view is amazing. You've got the river on once side and whole city on the other side. Today we're going to the Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière, which is a church on top of the hill, or mountain, behind our hotel. It looks like a castle up there. We saw it from a distance yesterday and now we're going to check it out and look down over the city."

"It's a lot easier to get the bird's eye view of Lyon compared to Paris. At Notre Dame in Paris, there were a ton of steps, but in Lyon, the Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière is on top of a hill and we took a tram, instead. You can see all of Lyon, and it's very beautiful...the most beautiful thing I've seen in some time."
