Head coach Lynne Roberts' video discussing the trip to France, and how it will
benefit the Tigers on and off the court.
"We're super exited to be able to take our program to France for 10 days. It will be a great 'collision' of athletics and academics. We'll play four games in those 10 days and mixed in will the a great cultural experience. We'll have sight-seeing time for all the historical and cultural crown jewels, if you will, of France. So it's going to be nice balance of education opportunities with basketball, and we couldn't be more excited. On the court, one of the main reasons we wanted to do this tour was because it does allow us to get a jump start on our season. We're allowed 10 additional practice days before the trip, so we get started in late July, instead of October. That's a great opportunity to help take our program to the next level. More practice, testing your team in a truly foreign environment. We're grateful for the support to be able to do this. It's going to be a great springboard for the 2012-13 season. "
