University of the Pacific

Sophomore (2016):
Woods had five appearances on the mound for the Tigers in his first year at Pacific.  His best appearance came on April 8, when he struck out the side in his one inning against Saint Mary''s.  He did not allow a run in any of his last four appearances.

Feather River College (2015):
In his second year at Feather River, Woods went 0-1 in 10 appearances.  He threw 11.2 innings and struck out 13 in that time, good for 10 K/9.  Feather River College repeated their 2014 Golden Valley Conference championship with a 20-5 record.

Feather River College (2014):
Woods pitched 11.1 innings for Feather River College as a freshman.  He had a 3.97 ERA in his 18 appearances, going 1-1 with 1 save.  Woods struck out 6 and walked 5.  The Golden Eagles won the Golden Valley Conference that year, going 23-2.

High School:
A Eugene, Oregon native, Woods went to North Eugene High School in the 5A/6A Midwestern League.

Personal:
Woods is the son of Doug Woods and Betty Grant.  He will major in environmental studies at Pacific.  Woods comes from Machiasport, Maine originally.
