Biography

Freshman (2016):
Margiotta worked mainly as a defensive substitute for the Tigers in his freshman year.  On March 17, Margiotta scored his first career run against BYU.  In his first career start, coming on April 26 against San Jose State, Margiotta picked up another run as well as his first career hit and first career RBI with a single over the first baseman''s head.  Margiotta also walked in that game, his first career walk.

High School:
Margiotta played for the Danville High School Wolves in his native Danville, California before enrolling at Pacific.  He was the team captain for the Wolves and was named the Best Representation of San Ramon Valley Baseball as well as a Scholar-Athlete thanks to his 4.0 GPA in his sophomore and senior years.  He hit .308 with a .446 OBP his senior season while leading the team in walks and sacrifice bunts.  Margiotta also graduated with honors.

Personal:
The son of Marco and Helena, Margiotta has one older brother: Mario, age 21.  Margiotta''s father Marco was a professional powerlifter and IFBB bodybuilder.  Margiotta is a 1st degree blackbelt in TaeKwonDo, which he has practice for over a decade.  He represented team California in the USA TaeKwonDo Nationals.  In his free time, Margiotta enjoys collecting shoes.  He will be majoring in sports management at Pacific.
