Biography

Freshman (2014:
Parker appeared in 19 games for the Tigers while starting 11 contests in his first season. He finished with a .298 average as he posted 14 hits in 47 at bats. Overall, Klein added eight RBI and five runs while tallying five-extra base hits, all of which were doubles. In his first collegiate appearance against Oregon State on Feb. 16, Parker went 2-for-2 as a pinch-hitter while driving in a run and scoring a run. He tallied four multi-hit contests including a pair of three hit affairs against Utah Valley (Mar. 1) and Stanford (Apr. 29).

High School:
Playing just down the road from Pacific, Klein earned all-league honors in each of his three varsity seasons culminating in First Team All-Sac Joaquin Section honors as a senior in 2013. As a senior, he hit .329 with 23 hits in 70 at bats while posting one triple and four doubles. He knocked in 19 RBI and scored 14 runs. A year prior, then a junior, Klein posted a .339 average while tallying seven doubles to drive in 13 RBI and score 17 runs. In 60 varsity games over three seasons, he finished with a career .350 average while posting a .476 on-base percentage.
