Biography

2024 (Graduate)
Named to the WCC All-Conference Second-Team, becoming a two-time All-Conference honoree... All-America Honorable Mention... earned a spot on the WCC All-Academic First-Team... recorded 177 saves in 20 games and held 11 teams to under 10 goals.... held five of six WCC opponents to eight goals or less... registered a season-high 13 saves against Princeton... tallied at least 10 saves in 10 different games... grabbed a season-high five steals in a win over LMU... held LMU and Santa Clara to just five goals apiece... played in all 20 contests and helped the team post an 18-2 record including 6-0 in conference play... a part of the team's WCC regular season championship squad

2022 (Graduate)
Had a season-high 17 saves against Cal on September 10. Had 16 saves against Pepperdine for a 55.2 save percentage in the Tigers’ 18-13 win. Had 10 saves and a season-high six steals against Stanford on October 22. First-year Tiger, Fountain, leads the GCC with 210 saves and a saves percentage of .507. He leads the conference in saves per game with 10.5 in 20 games played. Fountain was named to the All-GCC First-Team. Had 12 saves in the GCC semifinal game for a 54.5 percent save percentage. Had seven saves in the GCC championship game. Had eight saves and two steals in the Tigers’ opening-round game of the NCAA tournament. Had eight saves, one assist and two steals in the NCAA semifinal game against Cal.  

International 
Transfer from the University of the Waikato. Currently a goalie for the New Zealand Men's National Team. At 16, he was the youngest goalkeeper ever selected to the New Zealand Men's Water Polo Team and was a member of the New Zealand Junior Men's Volleyball Team. Four-time World Championship participant. Named MVP in two matches against USA and RSA in 2018.

Attended Mount Maunganui College. 

Personal 
Son of Sheree and Pete and brother to Jasmine. Fountain is a graduate student majoring in communications.
