2024 (Senior)
Named to the 2024 WCC All-Conference Second-Team, becoming a three-time All-Conference honoree... All-America Honorable Mention... recognized in the classroom with WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention... earned WCC Player of the Week honors on Nov. 19... tallied 36 goals on the season with four hat tricks... registered a whopping six goals and an assist in a regular season victory over Cal Baptist where he recorded a season-high 10 shots... notched four goals in a win over Pepperdine... netted at least two goals in 12 games... dished out a season-high four assists in a victory at Air Force... grabbed a season-high four steals in a win at UC San Diego... a part of the team's WCC regular season championship squad... played in all 20 contests and helped the team post an 18-2 record including 6-0 in conference play

2022 (Junior)
Had his first multi-goal game with three against Fordham in a 13-7 win. Had a season-high five goals against Cal on September 10. Scored three goals against USC in the Tigers’ 15-13 win on September 16. Had three goals against UC San Diego on September 24. Had four goals against Pepperdine on October 15 in a Pacific win. Found the back of the net three times against the Gauchos on November 5. Cote earned second-team all-conference honors. Cote is ninth in the conference in points with 66 and tied for ninth in goals-per-game, averaging 1.8 in 25 games played. He’s eighth in the GCC in points-per-game averaging 2.6. Had three assists and two steals in the GCC semifinal game on November 19. Scored twice in the GCC championship game. Scored a hat trick in the first quarter of the NCAA opening-round game against UC Davis.

2021 (Sophomore) 
Earned third team on the 2021 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Division I All-America Team. Named to the GCC All-Conference First Team. Earned GCC All-Academic honors. Played in all 22 games, recording 51 goals, 16 assists, 11 steals and five field blocks. Ranked sixth in the conference in goals and third in goals per game with 2.4. Scored five goals and one assist against San Jose State on September 4. Tallied four goals, two assists and one steal against #4 California on September 19. Earned four goals, one assist and one field block on November 21 in a win against #6 UC Santa Barbara. 

2020 (Sophomore) 
Team opted out of 2020 season. 

2019 (Freshman)
An ACWPA All-American Honorable Mention, Cote burst onto the collegiate water polo scene with four-goal performances in each of his first two games, finding the back of the cage in all but two games on the season with 17 multi-goal games. Enjoyed a 13-game scoring streak, scoring three or more in five games during the stretch. Ranked in the top 10 in the Golden Coast Conference with 53 goals, 30 assists and 83 points, including tallying 3.41 points per game in GCC play, third in the conference. In GCC contests, ranked seventh with 46 goals, seventh with 24 and fourth with 70 points. In addition to All-American, also earned Second-Team GCC All-Conference, GCC All-Freshman Team and GCC Newcomer of the Year.

Prior to Pacific
Played for the Canadian Senior National Team with current teammate Bogdan Djerkovic.
 
High School
Attended John Rennie High School in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. School did not have a league, so the team played in the National Canadian League. Finished second in the league in 2015, 2016 and 2018, and fourth in 2017. Led the league in scoring three years in a row as a three-time All-Star, scoring 111 goals in 2016. Also received the Russ Kelly Award for sport excellence and academics. Finished his education at John Abbott College. 

Personal 
Son of Monick Bergeron and Sébastien Cote. Has one sibling, Justin. Enjoys lifting, Cote is majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance.
