Biography
2019 (Redshirt Senior)
Put together one of the finest seasons in program history as a senior, ranking in the top five in the Golden Coast Conference with 64 goals, 34 assists, 98 points and 33 steals, 2.78 goals per game, 4.26 points per game and a GCC-leading 1.48 assists per game to earn his third straight GCC Player of the Year, First Team GCC All-Conference and ACWPC First Team All-American honor. Was also named a Peter J. Cutino Award finalist for the second time. Registered 15 multi-goal performances with five goals against Pepperdine in the NCAA Semifinal (12/7) and a hat trick in the national championship game against Stanford (12/8). Registered at least a hat trick on 13 occasions, including eight of Pacific's first 11 games. Broke out with six goals and five assists against Loyola Marymount (9/27) while adding two steals.
2018Â (Redshirt Junior)
Earned GCC Player of the Year for second year in a row with a conference-leading 78 goals and 29 assists for 107 total points. Matched teammate Ege Colak with a season-high seven goals in Pacific's victory over Harvard (9/2). Also went a perfect 6-for-6 from the field against MIT (9/2). Went on to score in 22 out of 24 games and tally 17 hat tricks. Also proved to be a defensive presence, recording a GCC-best 44 steals and 11 field blocks. Had five games with at least three steals, including a career-best five against Pepperdine (10/13). Won 15 out of 24 sprints as Pacific's lead sprinter. Led the GCC with 3.25 goals, 1.83 steals and 4.43 points per game, finishing the season with All-GCC First Team and All-GCC Tournament Team honors.
2017 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Earned Golden Coast Conference Player of the Year, All-GCC First Team, All-GCC Tournament Team and All-GCC Tournament MVP honors after compiling 81 goals and 36 assists for 117 points with 14 field blocks and a team-high 61 steals. Scored in 26 of Pacific's 27 matches, shooting .471 from the field and registering a dominating 16 hat tricks with a career-high seven goals against San Jose State (11/10). Enjoyed a six-game stretch with at least three goals and had 12 games with at least three steals, including a career-best seven against No. 10 UC Santa Barbara (11/3). Scored four goals in the NCAA Quarterfinal against No. 8 UC Davis (11/30), following that up with a hat trick in the NCAA Semifinal against UCLA (12/2). Ranked in the top three in conference in goals per game, points per game and steals per game, and was named a Peter J. Cutino Award finalist.Â
2016 (Redshirt Freshman)
Scored 25 goals and 12 assists in 12 games as a freshman before a season-ending injury, scoring in all 12 games with eight multi-goal performances and racking up three assists twice. Scored a season-high four goals twice in wins over No. 16 Cal Baptist (9/16) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (9/18). Also added a hat trick against Redlands (9/18). Also tallied 25 steals on the year, and drew six exclusions.
