Biography
2015-16 (Junior):
Did not play in 2015-16 due to injury.
2014-15 (Sophomore):
Daria was out in the beginning of the season do to injury. Labintseva came back at the end, finishing the season 2-2 in singles competition.
2013-14 (Freshman):
Daria joined the Tigers for the spring semester. She was 2-3 in singles action, winning her first two matches at Pacific. She was 1-3 in doubles competition.
High School/Club:
Daria joins the Tigers from Yekaterinburg, Russia. She finished second at the Zarechny championships in 2009, while also finishing second in singles and doubles at the Hanty-Mansiysk championships in 2009 ... She finished first in singles at the Orenburg tournament in March of 2010 ... In 2011 she placed second in the July tournament in Perm, along with second place finishes in singles and doubles in Hanty-Mansiysk (October) and second place in singles in Krasnoyarsk (November 2011) ... In her 2012 tournament season, she placed placed first in the Hanty-Mansiysk “Cup of the North” in February and second in North Novgorod in August.
Personal:
Daria is the daughter of Vyacheslav and Galina Labintseva. She was born in Kovrov, Russia. She ia an international business major at Pacific. In her free time, Daria enjoys drawing, reading and skiing.
