Biography
Junior (2018)
Roni Long was a member of the Tigers'' No. 2 flight nearly all season, pairing with Taylor Poncetta (4-3), Skylar Wine (1-4) and Hanne De Schrijver (2-3). Finished the season with a 9-14 overall record, which included a 2-2 finish at the WCC Tournament with sweeping wins over San Francisco (Apr. 20) and Portland (Apr. 20).
MiraCosta College (2016)
Long joins the Tigers after a two year stint with the MiraCosta College Volleyball program. After redshirting the 2015 season, Long competed for the Spartan’s indoor volleyball team in 2016 and the beach volleyball team in both 2016 and 2017. She was named 2017 Spartan Athlete of the Year after leading the indoor volleyball team to an outstanding 23-6 season en route to a Conference Championship and the beach program to a Conference title and its first-ever State Championship. In her final season with the Spartans, Long hit .239 with 1.36 kills and 1.6 points per set. Her accolades include being tabbed First Team All-California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) for beach volleyball in 2017 and Second Team All-Conference in 2016.

While attending she participated in both volleyball and basketball.
