Biography

Senior (2018)
Katrin Gotterba paired with Alex Holt as the Tigers No. 3 flight, going 17-6 on the season. The pair defeated nationally-ranked squads -- Saint Mary''s, Stanford, and Loyola Marymount. Was named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic honorable mention.

Junior (2017)
Gotterba, as member of the Tigers No. 2 flight finished 6-7 on the season. She and teammate Maycie LaBass snagged a win over No. 16 California on Mar. 4. 

Sophomore (2016)

Gotterba and partner Maycie LaBass went 6-2 as Pacific''s fourth pairing to help Pacific to a 38-37 overall win-loss record.  Gotterba''s 28 digs against Stanford were the most by any Tiger all year.  Gotterba went over 20 digs three more times: 21 against Cal and 20 against New Mexico and Boise State.  She also recorded 19 kills twice, against San Jose State and Boise State.  Just once all year did Gotterba have less than ten digs.  She had ten or more kills in all but three games as well.

Freshman (2015)
Playing her first season in the sand, Gotterba spent the season as one of the Tigers'' alternates while playing a handful of exhibition contests at No. 6. Dominant the exhibition play, Gotterba, while teamed with both Maycie LaBass (8-2) and Jessica Diederich (2-1), finished the year with a 10-3 overall record. On the year, Gotterba posted 180 kills to go with 223 digs and 34 service aces.

High School
Gotterba came to Pacific from just down the road after a stellar career at St. Mary''s High School, from which she graduated in 2014. A defensive wiz for the Rams, Gotterba was a four-year starter for St. Mary''s and helped lead the Rams to the league title and to the semifinals of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoffs as a senior. She was named Libero of the Year in the TCAL and was named to the all-area team for the third time in her four seasons. Off the high school courts, Gotterba is a member of Delta Valley Volleyball Club, playing alongside of fellow freshman Andie Shelton. Along with Shelton and fellow freshman Maycie LaBass, Gotterba represented the USA in the 2014 European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia over the 2014 summer. The Global Challenge is a 24-team international tournament with top teams in u17 and u22 divisions from around the world. 

Personal:
Katrin Gotterba is from Stockton, Calif. and is the daughter of Claudia and Eddie Gotterba. She has a twin sister, Gianna, who plays volleyball at West Virginia. Katrin is pursuing a degree in business.
