2014 (Junior):
Taking on an increased role at the top of the Pacific pitching staff, Bonnet appeared in 28 games for the Orange and Black, recording a 4.80 ERA to go with 76 strikeouts. She threw 125.1 innings and complied an 11-8 record in 19 starts. Out of the bullpen, Bonnet made nine apperances, holding opponents at bay for two saves. In non-conference action, Bonnet struck out six Princeton batters, tying a career high in a complete-game victory on March 19. In conference games, Bonnet went 4-1 with a 4.47 ERA. Conference highlights included a complete game victory at Saint Mary''s on April 19, allowing just a single run in a 6-1 victory and a complete-game shutout against San Diego on April 26th, holding the Toreros to just one extra-base hit.
2013 (Sophomore):
Pitching in a stable of four arms, Bonnet finished her second season with 82.1 innings of work while throwing in 19 games including 14 starts. Dani finished with some tough luck in the wins department as she posted a 6-11 record while throwing against some of the best teams in the country for the second-straight season. Overall, Bonnet posted a 3.91 ERA over the course of the season while adding 40 strike outs to her career totals. In conference games, Dani was the Tiger''s top pitcher as she posted just a 1.42 ERA in eight appearances while posting a 4-4 record. Throughout the year, Dani was called upon to start against NCAA Tournament teams, Baylor, Fordham, San Jose State, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Washington, and Hawai''i.
2012 (Freshman):
Making her mark in her first season with the Tigers, Dani made 23 appearances on the year with 16 starts to finish with a 10-8 record and a 3.55 ERA. Additionally, the young pitcher added 40 strikeouts in 98.2 innings pitched and earned three shutouts in six complete games. Called upon early in her career to face some of the Pacific''s toughest opponents, Bonnet hit the ground running earning Big West Pitcher of the Week honors on Feb. 26 in just her third weekend of work. During the weekend, Bonnet hit the circle for three appearances including earning a pair of starts against Iowa State and No. 14 Texas A&M and came away with a perfect 2-0 record including an unblemished 0.00 ERA. Against Iowa State, Bonnet picked up her first collegiate victory as she threw five innings of scoreless ball while allowing just three hits.
High School:
A graduate of Sunrise Mountain HS in Peoria, Ariz., Bonnet proved to be one of the top talents in the state after earning all-state honors in her final year in high school. The ace in the circle for the Mustangs, Bonnet finished her senior season with an 18-1 record in the circle while posting a miniscule 0.69 ERA. She threw a no-hitter against Dysart on April 6, allowing just one base-runner in a 10-0 win over the defending state champions. In addition to her stellar showing in the circle, Bonnet was as impressive at the plate as she posted a .409 average with five home runs and 38 RBI. Her play led the Mustangs to the quarterfinals of the 4A state championship tournament and a finish of 26-3 overall and 11-1 in league play for the 2011 season. She would earn First Team All-4A West Valley League honors in addition to her all-state honors while also earning region player of the year status. As a junior Bonnet and the Mustangs moved up to 4A Division I where they went 12-0 in league play to win the 4A West Valley championship in their first season. Leading the way, Bonnet was impressive at the plate and in the circle as she hit .406 while posting a team-best 0.53 ERA in 79 innings pitched. For the year, Bonnet went 12-2 while striking out 103 batters while walking just 14.
Personal:
Born in Phoenix, Ariz., Danielle Bonnet is the daughter of Debbie and Dan Bonnet. She has one brother, Ryan. In her fourth year at Pacific, Dani is majoring in sports medicine.
