2016 (Junior):
Leach''s scoring exploded as a junior as she recorded 17 points, including 13 assists, the second-most in a single season in Pacific history. Leach had two three-game scoring streaks, with seven points against Vermont, Drexel, and LIU Brooklyn and five points against Missouri State, Appalachian State, and Davidson. Her two goals this year came against UC Davis and against LIU Brooklyn. Leach finished the year in fourth in the career assist rankings for Pacific.
2015 (Sophomore):
Leach continued to blossom on the backline for Pacific, starting 11 of her 18 games played. Leach recorded one defensive save in addition to her goal and two assists. Against Central Michigan, Leach put up a goal and an assist. Her other assist came against Indiana. Leach had three shots total on the year, coming against Indiana, Central Michigan, and UC Davis.
2014 (Freshman):
As a true freshman, Emma Leach played in all 20 games, starting 15 for the Tigers. Leach led Pacific with four defensive saves, preventing goals at the line against Albany (Sept. 12), Iowa (Sept. 14), Stanford (Oct. 17), and North Carolina (Oct. 26).
High School:
Leach, a defender and midfielder from Gilroy High School, captained the Mustangs to a 13-3-2 record in 2013. She was a Blossom Valley Athletic League All-First Team selection following the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
In club competition, Leach was part of the Gilroy Infinity. The team took part in the National Futures Championships in 2012 and also won its pool at the National Festival in 2012 in Palm Beach, Fla.
Personal:
Emma was born in Gilroy, Calif. and is the daughter of Greg and Molly Leach. In her spare time, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, baking and scrapbooking. She is studying Biological Sciences here at Pacific.
