Biography

2017 (Redshirt Senior):
Played in all 27 matches for the Tigers. Earned ACWPC All-America, All-Golden Coast Conference Second Team, All-GCC Tournament Team, and All-GCC Academic honors. Scored 47 goals, 42 assists, and 89 total points. Also finished second on the team with 46 steals and ranked in the top five in conference in steals per game (1.7)0), assists per game (1.56), and points per game (3.30). Had 23 games with a scored goal and six hat tricks on the year. Registered four goals on four occasions against San Jose State (Sept. 17), No. 6 Long Beach State (Sept. 24) , San Jose State (Nov. 10), and No. 8 UC Davis (Nov. 11). Had a season-best four assists against Wagner (Sept. 2). Also tallied five steals versus No. 7 UC Irvine (Nov. 19), a season-high.

2016 (Senior):

Redshirted the 2016 campaign and will be back for 2017 as a redshirt senior.

2015 (Junior):
A ACWPC Second Team All-American, Second Team All-MPSF, and MPSF All-Academic Team member, Ben Stevenson scored 58 goals with 31 assists to lead Pacific in scoring. Finished sixth in MPSF with 2.07 goals per game. Scored in 24 of 28 games with 18 multi-goal games. Tallied four games with four goals: against Iona (Sept. 12), #7 UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 4), #4 California (Oct. 10) and #7 UC Irvine (Oct. 17). Added eight other hat tricks on the year. Scored three goals with three assists against #6 UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 11). Posted 36 steals defensively.

2014 (Sophomore):
Stevenson earned All-America honors and was named Honorable Mention All-MPSF after leading the Tigers with 54 goals in 26 games, an average of 2.08 per game. Scored in all but two games with 16 multi-goal games. Set and then tied his career-best with four-goal games in wins over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Sept. 6) and Air Force (Sept. 7) at the Triton Invitational before turning in his first five-goal game at the Kap7 NorCal Classic in a win over #11 UC Davis (Sept. 20). Added additional four-goal games against #10 UC Davis (Sept. 14) and #3 Cal (Oct. 3). Also turned in hat tricks against Cal Baptist (Sept. 26) and Cal Lutheran (Sept. 27) at the Aggie Shootout, and another against #1 UCLA (Nov. 8). Scored the overtime game-winner against #6 UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 12) as the Tigers won 8-7 in extra time. Has tallied 68 goals in two seasons with the Tigers. Named to both the MPSF and ACWPC All-Academic teams.

Participated with the US Men''s National Team over the summer in a four-game series in California against the Serbian National Team (June 4-8).

2013 (Freshman):
Stevenson scored 15 goals in 28 games as a freshman for Pacific. He recorded two multi-goal games, including a pair of scores in the MPSF semifinals against USC and a two-goal game against Navy. Netted his first collegiate goal in a win over Santa Clara in the season opener.

High School/Club:
Stevenson joined the Tigers from Reno, Nev. He played water polo at both Reno High School and Coronado High School in Henderson, Nev. He was invited to train with the USA Junior National Team last season and played in the 2012 UANA Junior Pan American Championships in Montreal, Canada, leading the team to a runner-up finish.

Personal:
The son of Marshall and Paige Stevenson, Ben as younger sister Lizzy. He is majoring in Business.
