SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced its 2026 Baseball All-Academic Team with Pacific garnering five All-Academic awards on Monday afternoon.

Redshirt sophomore Robert Orr was named to the WCC All-Academic Team, while junior Regan Carter, junior Braeden Schnabel, graduate student Ethan Shaver and senior Jake Tandy collected WCC All-Academic Honorable Mentions.

Orr, a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, has put together an impressive campaign as the Tigers' shortstop, hitting .314 with a team-leading seven home runs and .530 slugging percentage. This is the first All-Academic Team recognition for Orr and the first Tiger to earn the honor since Tandy during the 2024 season. Orr is pursuing his degree in applied economics.

Carter, a native of Fulshear, Texas, has been a steady arm out of the bullpen. Carter owns a 3.14 earned run average in 14.1 innings across WCC games this season. This is the first time Carter has earned a WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention accolade. Carter is pursuing his degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.

Schnabel, a native of Tempe, Arizona, represents one of the top hitters for the Tigers in terms of batting average this season, sporting a team-best .348 clip across 41 games. This is the first time Schnabel has earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention accolade. Schnabel is pursuing his degree in applied economics.

Shaver, a native of San Jose, California, has made the most appearances out of the Tigers' bullpen with 25 to his name. For a second season in a row, Shaver has been recognized as a WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention. Shaver earned his degree in emergency management science.

Tandy, a native of West Sacramento, California, has been the Tigers' hottest bat down the stretch of the conference season, hitting a team-best .369 across 27 league games this year. Tandy paces Pacific with 45 RBIs, setting a new career-high in that category. This is third season Tandy has been awards a WCC All-Academic honor after previously being named to the All-Academic Team in 2024 and an Honorable Mention in 2025. Tandy earned his degree in engineering physics.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the West Coast Conference selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team and in at least their second year at their school.
