STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific baseball program honored its graduating senior class on Sunday at Klein Family Field with the game ending in an 11-11 tie after eight innings due to a mutually agreed upon time constraint associated with the San Diego's travel arrangements.
The Tigers (22-26-1, 14-9-1 WCC) scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to level the score at 11 apiece before the series finale against the Toreros (17-30-1, 9-14-1 WCC) was called.
For a second consecutive day, Pacific utilized a seven-run spot to catapult the offense, capped by senior
Blaine French's first home run of the season, which was a two-run shot to right center field.
Senior
Jake Tandy was a bright spot for the Tigers' offense once again, extending his hitting streak to 12 games with another four-hit performance today. Junior
Braeden Schnabel continued to tear the cover off of the ball, adding another three-hit day to his 2026 campaign, including driving in the game-tying run in the eighth inning.
The back-and-forth contest saw Pacific utilize five arms, led by redshirt junior
Garret Plata and his 4.1 innings.
After Sunday's action around the conference, Pacific currently sits third place in the WCC standings.
Up next, Pacific is scheduled to play at Cal State Bakersfield on Tuesday with a first pitch slated for 5 p.m. from Hardt Field.
