Men’s Golf Set for Regular Season Finale at El Macero Classic

DAVIS, Calif. – The Pacific men's golf program readies for the final tournament of the regular season at the El Macero Classic, hosted by UC Davis at El Macero Country Club from Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12.

The Tigers enter the El Macero Classic as the No. 81 ranked team in the country, looking to square away with their final regular season tune-ups before the West Coast Conference tournament in the beginning of May.

Pacific is spearheaded by redshirt junior Deitrek Gill at the top of the lineup card. In the month of March, Gill posted three top 20 individual finishes, including a fourth-place finish at The Watney. Gill has been consistent all year, leading to his 70.8 adjusted scoring average. Last year at the El Macero Classic, Gill earned a top five placement individually where Pacific finished third as a team.

Senior Timothy Jung performed as the best Tiger last time out at The Goodwin in which Pacific completed the three-day tournament in 19th place in Palo Alto, California. Jung has four top 20 finishes across his 2025-26 campaign, including an eighth place nod at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate.

Sophomore Felix Bouchard, senior Travis Robbie and sophomore Brasen Briones round out the Pacific five competing in Davis this weekend. Bouchard will be making his first appearance at the El Macero Classic, while Briones and Robbie get their second go-around at it. Redshirt senior Daniel Henely will compete as an individual this weekend.

The El Macero Classic is a three-day tournament with a 19-team field including Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, California Baptist, Colorado State, Denver, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Nevada, Pacific, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Seattle, Saint Mary's, host UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UT Arlington, Washington State and Wyoming.

Live scoring across the three days can be found here with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. each round.
