STANFORD, Calif. – The last four games of Pacific's 2026 campaign begin with a trip to 18th-ranked Stanford on Wednesday at 4 p.m. before returning to Bill Simoni Field to host San Diego from Friday through Sunday for the final series of the weekend, the last game of which will honor the program's six seniors.
The Tigers (16-32, 4-11 WCC) have an opportunity to snap a five-game losing streak against the Cardinal (34-12, 18-6 ACC) on Wednesday. The last time Pacific upended Stanford was 2018, when a one-hitter by Kenya Lindstrom stifled SU on the way to a 6-0 road victory. This season's meeting is something of a clean slate as neither Pacific pitcher, nor any of the team's four hits from 2025 remain on the roster.
With the season's end closing in, redshirt senior
Olivia Silvestre is homing in on moving up the single season program leader board in hit-by-pitches and doubles. She enters the week with 17 doubles, tied for the sixth most in a single season. If she is able to double three times in the next four games, she would tie for second as one of three Tigers in program history with a 20-double season (Barbara Moody, 28 and Nikki Armagost, 20). As for the HBP, Silvestre has been hit 15 times – meaning she has the fourth most in a single season and the most by a Tiger not named Nicole Matson (she holds the top three spots at 20, 18, and 16 respectively).
Within the program's career record book, Silvestre ranks fourth all-time in doubles at 41 and third all-time in hit by pitches with 30. However, after posting a .483 on-base percentage thus far in 2026, she is currently tied for the school record in career on-base percentage with Jennifer Curtier (2004-07) at .490.
In the month of April, the San Ramon native leads the team with a .371 batting average and has hit for power with four doubles and a homerun. She's also been the team's leading run producer from the leadoff spot, knocking in nine RBIs during the month.
Moving to the weekend series, Pacific can finish WCC play with seven conference wins should the Tigers sweep the Toreros (17-28, 3-9 WCC) – which would be the most WCC wins since 2018 when the team went 9-6. Pacific has found solid success against USD in recent meetings as the team took two of three from San Diego in 2025 and then won three of four in Stockton in 2024.
Senior
Jordan Hayes and sophomore
Peyton Clifford continue to provide offensive kick for the team from the bottom of the order as both student-athletes are batting over .300 in the month of April (.333 for Hayes and .353 for Clifford). Beyond the high batting averages, Pacific has been able to work counts and draw walks with the Tigers walking 49 times in 13 games compared to the opposition's 41 walks.
The team has also found its power swing in April as seven different Tigers have gone yard to hit seven of the 22 season homers.
Defensively, freshman
Carley Mulcahey has been Pacific's go-to arm in April, posting a 1.79 ERA in six appearances and 15.2 innings pitched with a 1-1 record in that span.
Post-game Sunday, the team will honor redshirt senior
Olivia Silvestre alongside seniors
Rory Schuck,
Asia Lee,
Amanda Bricker,
Allie Capello and
Jordan Hayes for their contributions to the program.
Wednesday's game will be shown on the ACC Network and the weekend series on ESPN+.
