STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific baseball program takes a break from West Coast Conference action, beginning a final eight-game homestand with Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Cal State Bakersfield from Klein Family Field.
Closing the book on April, the Tigers (17-24, 9-9 WCC) face the Roadrunners (19-25, 9-12 Big West) for the second time this season, looking to avenge an 8-1 loss in Bakersfield from April 6.

Braeden Schnabel has been on a tear this month, hitting .383 with nine extra-base hits and a team-high 12 runs across 14 games. The native of Tempe, Arizona sports a team-best .330 batting average and carries over a six-game hitting streak (11-for-25) into Tuesday's tilt.

Grant MacArthur has homered in back-to-back games, aiding a Tigers' offense that has hit at least one big fly in seven straight games – the longest home run stretch since eight games from April 26, 2022, to May 12, 2022. MacArthur went 4-for-7 in Pacific's series win over the Dons on the Hilltop last weekend.
As a staff, the Tigers own a 4.70 earned run average this month. Redshirt senior
Nathen Nino has been effective when called upon in April, holding a 4.82 earned run average in 9.1 innings of work. Nino pitched in the last midweek game for Pacific at UC Davis where the Tigers came up on the wrong side of a 6-5 decision in ten innings.

Carson Revay has been a reliable reliever for head coach
Reed Peters. Revay was named last week as one of the nation's 61 top relief pitchers, earning recognition on the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List. Revay is the first Tiger to receive this honor since Josh Schmidt in 2005. Revay holds a 3.03 earned run average in 35.2 innings with seven saves on the year, which puts him in a five-way tie for the fourth-most saves in a single season in program history.
The Roadrunners have won three of their last four contests, posting double-digit run totals in two of those three wins last week. Spearheading a lineup with three batters over the .300 mark, Elijah Pelayo brings a team-best .335 batting average and 35 runs to Stockton, California. CSUB has a team ERA of 6.48 across its 44 games.
The Tigers and the Roadrunners meet for the second of three times this season. Pacific seeks to defeat CSUB at home for the first time since April 9, 2024, when the Tigers run-ruled their opponent by an 11-1 margin in seven innings. Pacific hit four home runs in that effort.
Tuesday's game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Dennis Ackerman on the call for the 5:05 p.m. first pitch.
