DAVIS, Calif. – The Pacific baseball program wraps up an eight-game road swing with a Tuesday night tilt at 6 p.m. against UC Davis from Phil Swimley Field at Dobbins Stadium.
The Tigers (12-22) ride some momentum heading into their final of two meetings this season against the Aggies (15-18) after having taken two of three from Pepperdine this past weekend.
Senior
Jake Tandy was a man on a mission during the first West Coast Conference series win of the season for the Tigers, going 5-for-12 with two runs, six RBIs and his first home run of the 2026 campaign. Tandy recorded six RBIs in the series-opening 8-7 win over the Waves, becoming just the third Tiger since 2014 to register six or more RBIs in a single game, joining Ben Nemivant in 2023 at New Mexico State and Chaz Myers in 2022 against LMU. Tandy leads the Tigers in RBIs this season with 24 to his name.
Graduate student
Brendan O'Sullivan also served as a key cog of the Pacific offense of late, hitting .341 in his last ten games with five runs and seven RBIs in that span. O'Sullivan is the current Tiger leader in batting average and runs scored, sporting a .291 clip and 21 runs with his recent surge.
The Aggies have won four of their last five games, including a home series win over Cal State Bakersfield. Elijah McNeal is one of three Aggies with 15+ RBIs and 15+ runs this year, while pacing the UC Davis attack with a .275 batting average.
Pacific and UC Davis compete for the second time this year with the Aggies winning at Klein Family Field by a 10-8 margin on March 24. UC Davis scored five unanswered runs to snatch the victory. In that contest, junior
Braeden Schnabel, going 3-for-3 with a double, a run and a pair of RBIs. The Tigers stole four bases in that game, which reps as a season high. Pacific owns a 3-3 road record at UC Davis since 2019 with the program's most recent road victory coming in 2023.
Tuesday's contest will be streamed live on ESPN+ with a 6 p.m. first pitch.
