WTEN Preview in Tennessee 2026

Women’s Tennis Off to Tennessee for Pair of Games

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – To close out the non-conference portion of the schedule, Pacific women's tennis makes two program first matchups against Middle Tennessee State and Chicago state in the Volunteer State on Monday at 3 p.m. and Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Monday's match is the first time Pacific (3-9) has met up with a current Conference-USA member since New Mexico State in 2022 and has not lost to a C-USA team since 2015 (Liberty). Meanwhile
Chicago State (0-14) is the second ever Northeast Conference opponent Pacific has seen – defeating LIU in 2023.

Junior Indiya McLeod continues to rack up wins for the Tigers, entering the week 8-3 in singles play this season and currently sports a four-match winning streak. The junior is also the team's winningest doubles player this season with four wins this season split between three different partners. Fellow junior Leyanne Hirota also has four doubles wins this season and the two have teamed up once this season, defeating Jessup last month.

Graduate Cindy Ung is riding a bit of a hot streak for the Tigers, emerging victorious in her last two singles appearances and last two doubles appearances.

Monday against MTSU will be streamed on Track Tennis with a Live Stats option for ION court while Tuesday versus Chicago State will not be shown or have live stats.
