STOCKTON, Calif. – Pacific's homestand to open conference play comes to a close this weekend, hosting Gonzaga on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a Washington State home bout on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
Junior
Indiya McLeod continues to put together a dominant season, extending her winning streak on the singles courts to six in a row after winning her WCC opener against Saint Mary's last season. Last Sunday's win was the tenth of her season, making her the first Tiger (4-10, 0-1 WCC) since the 2024 season to reach ten singles wins. In two more wins, McLeod would tie her career best singles wins (12 in 2024).
Doubles has been no less hot for the junior as she has prevailed in her last seven doubles matched and holds a 7-4 record playing primarily on court two. The only student-athlete hotter than McLeod on the doubles courts has been fellow junior
Leyanne Hirota who will reach ten doubles wins with her next triumph.
Hirota is undefeated this season playing on courts one and two (5-0) and has taken her last six decisions. Should she reach ten doubles wins she would be the first Tiger since 2024 to do so.
Against Gonzaga (8-7, 0-2 WCC), Pacific has won the last two meetings in Stockton. During the 2024 win over Gonzaga, both McLeod and junior
Milena Maiorova factored into the win by scoring a point each in the singles portion.
Against Washington State (9-6, 1-1 WCC), the program is searching for its first ever win over the Cougars. The match is also the first against WSU to be played in Stockton.
Both matches will be streamed on Track Tennis.
