DAVIS, Calif. – The Pacific men's and women's track and field program got to work the last two days at the Aggie Open, hosted by UC Davis at Toomey Track.
The Tigers collected ten points in total with sophomore
Jonathan Jones earning the bulk of the team points with six in the men's long jump. UC Davis ultimately won on both sides of the two-day meet this weekend.
Jones registered a 6.14-meter jump as his best, marking the third best of the competition.
Junior
Amir Brooks collected a fifth-place nod in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 52.54, earning a pair of points toward Pacific's team score.
On the women's side, the Tigers picked up two points from freshman
Winisha Steele Michael for her run in fifth place at 1:01.86.
Pacific looks ahead to next weekend when the Tigers take on the Fresno Opener, hosted by Fresno State from March 27-28.
