STOCKTON, Calif. – Winners of four of its last five, Pacific kicks off West Coast Conference play Sunday afternoon against Saint Mary's at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.
Coming into the matchup the Tigers (4-9) have had 13 days off from their last match, a road win at Middle Tennessee State. In that win, a trio of Tigers combined to score two points each with graduate
Cindy Ung and juniors
Milena Maiorova/
Indiya McLeod all winning their singles and doubles appearances.
Ung and McLeod in particular have been a consistent force in the Pacific lineup of late, winning their last three and five singles matches respectively. Sitting at 9-3 this season, McLeod is looking to reach double digit wins for the second time in her Pacific career (last done during the 2024 season).
Maiorova's win meanwhile gave her a 4-3 record playing on singles court one this season while Ung has found a home on court four with a 2-3 record.
On the doubles side, McLeod has emerged as Pacific's most dangerous student-athlete, winning her last six matches to sit at 6-4 so far. Fellow junior
Leyanne Hirota has also done damage for the Tigers winning her last five matches and has an 8-5 record thus far.
Against the Gaels (4-8), Pacific is searching for its first series win since at least the 2006 season.
Sunday's conference opener will be streamed on Track Tennis.
