WAIMEA, Hawaii – The Pacific men's golf program starts the spring season at the Amer Ari Invitational from Thursday, Feb. 5 to Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Mauna Lani Resort Golf Club.
In the 35th edition of the Amer Ari Invitational, the Tigers will go up against a heavily competitive 20-team field, facing seven of the top 16 nationally ranked programs across the three-day tournament.
"We are excited to get the spring season underway," Pacific head coach
John Cook said. "We are looking forward to competing in this great field of teams."
Checking in at No. 53 in the national rankings, Pacific was picked to finish second in the West Coast Conference standings. During the fall, the Tigers competed in five tournaments and collected pair of top three finishes, including the team tournament title at the 2025 Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational.
Redshirt junior
Deitrek Gill was selected as one of ten members on the WCC preseason team. In the 2025-26 campaign, Gill has compiled four top 20 individual finishes, including a runner-up finish at the 2025 Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational where the Tigers claimed the team tournament title for the first time since 2010. Across 15 rounds, Gill paces Pacific with an adjusted scoring average of 70.1.
Sophomore
Felix Bouchard put together a strong first half where he was crowned champion of the 2025 Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational with a 12-under par. Bouchard has collected an adjusted scoring average of 70.6, which serves as the second lowest on the team.
Pacific's lineup will round out with senior
Timothy Jung, senior
Travis Robbie and sophomore
Brasen Briones – all of which competed in last year's Amer Ari Invitational. Senior
Ian Fritz will compete as an individual.
The Tigers last year earned a tie for an 11
th-place finish out of the 20 participating teams with a 35-under par, marking Pacific's best finish at the Amer Ari Invitational since competing in the field since the 2013-14 season. In 2025, Oklahoma State captured the team title.
The three-day tournament will be played at Mauna Lani Resort for a third straight year. The teams will play the 6,913-yard, par-72 course over 54 holes with a 7:30 a.m. HT/9:30 a.m. PT shotgun start each day. Live scoring for the tournament can be found
