STOCKTON, Calif. – Beginning the second season of women's tennis Head Coach Mary Beth Gunn's tenure, the team is slated to finish ninth of ten teams when the WCC released its preseason poll on Thursday.
The Tigers finished last season on a high note with an upset victory over LMU on senior day and helped attain coach Gunn her 100th career win as a head coach when the team defeated Eastern Washington.
Juniors
Milena Maiorova,
Rayna Sugai, and
Indiya McLeod highlight the Pacific returnees, complimented by newcomer freshman
Pauline Lerminiaux and the return of graduate
Cindy Ung, who started her career in the orange and black before a detour to CSUN the past three seasons.
Freshmen
Eden Kanon and
Kaylie Cao round out the incoming class of freshman for Gunn, who start the season on January 24 at UC Davis before returning home for the home opener on January 25 against Fresno State.
