STOCKTON, Calif. – Swimming & diving kicks off its spring schedule Friday at Cal State Bakersfield. The men's and women's basketball teams continue their West Coast Conference slates and will each play a home game this week - the women host Saint Mary's at 6 p.m. Thursday, while the men host San Diego at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Thursday, Jan 8 - Women's Basketball (7-8, 2-2 WCC) hosts Saint Mary's (10-7, 1-3 WCC), 6 p.m. - For the first time since eliminating the Gaels from the WCC tournament last season, Saint Mary's and Pacific meet on the court. The teams have traded regular season sweeps the past two seasons with Pacific taking both matchups in 2023-24 and Saint Mary's prevailing twice last season. Senior Sydney Ward has proven herself on the boards, averaging 7.5 rebounds per game in four conference games alongside 13 points per game. In the all-time series, Pacific trails 24-23 but leads 11-10 in Stockton.
Thursday, Jan. 8 - Men's Basketball (11-6, 2-2 WCC) at Portland (7-10, 0-4 WCC), 7 p.m. - The Tigers are 29-19 all-time against Portland but are looking for their first road win in the series since 2020-21. Pacific is coming off an unbeaten home weekend where it topped Oregon State 84-53 and Pepperdine 74-69. Senior Elias Ralph leads the team with 17.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
Friday, Jan. 9 - Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving at Cal State Bakersfield - The Pacific swim and dive program opens up the new year at Cal State Bakersfield. The first of two road meets to begin the January slate is a made-up date for an earlier postponement back on Nov. 1.
 The Tigers defeated the Roadrunners last year when they hosted them in Stockton.
Saturday, Jan. 10 - Men's Basketball (11-6, 2-2 WCC) hosts San Diego (6-10, 1-3 WCC), 4 p.m. - The Tigers are 7-0 at the Alex G. Spanos Center including 2-0 in conference play. Pacific will look to avenge a 66-54 road defeat to the Toreros in the first meeting this year. The Tigers are 17-15 all-time against San Diego and 10-4 at home.
