WTEN Preview vs. Idaho/Nevada 2026

Homestand Continues for Women’s Tennis Through the Weekend

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific women's tennis program remains in the friendly confines of the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center for two matches, starting Friday with Idaho at 1 p.m. and then wrapping up the weekend Sunday against Nevada at 11 a.m.

Both the Vandals (1-2) and Wolf Pack (1-3) featured on Pacific's (0-2) schedule a season ago, giving the Tigers a chance at avenging last season's losses. Junior Milena Maiorova is the lone returning point scorer against Idaho after notching a comeback three-set win on singles court two last season. Fellow junior Indiya McLeod was able to secure a win on doubles court three but the Tigers were not able to win on courts one or two to pull out a doubles point.

Friday's match is the fifth in the series history and a Pacific win would be the first in three tries in Stockton.

Conversely, the last decade has seen Pacific enjoy success against Nevada going 5-3 since 2015 and 3-1 at home. Meetings in Stockton in the last ten years have either ended as a sweep in favor of the Tigers or gone down to the final court in 4-3 decisions, in which Pacific has a slight 2-1 edge.

Last season's 7-0 loss to Nevada was an anomaly in the series as Pacific had not been swept by the Wolf Pack since 2006.

Both matches this weekend will be streamed on Track Tennis.
