STOCKTON, Calif. – Ahead of the 2026 season, senior Amanda Bricker and redshirt senior Olivia Silvestre earned nods on the Preseason Team when the West Coast Conference announced its preseason poll and awards Wednesday morning.

The duo were the Tigers' two best bats all season with Silvestre's season going down in the record book as a top-ten single season in walks, doubles, homeruns, hit by pitches and slugging percentage while turning in top five single season efforts in batting average and on base percentage. She led the conference in doubles and ranked second in both batting average and on base percentage.

Silvestre was also one of the most durable Tigers last season as one of just two student-athletes to appear in all 50 games, as well as the only Tiger to start all 50 games.

Bricker was right behind the redshirt senior finishing second on the team in batting average, runs scored, hits and homeruns and led the team in triples. She started in 40 of her 42 appearances in last season's campaign.

Combined they were the first pair of Tigers to each hit more than five homeruns in a season since the 2018 season.

As a team the Tigers were picked to finish seventh in the preseason poll, despite finishing fifth in the standings last season.

Pacific opens its season on February 5 in Hawaii against North Dakota at the Paradise Softball Classic before making its home opener on February 11 versus UC Davis.
