STOCKTON, Calif. – Women's water polo begins its season Thursday with a 6 p.m. home game against Fresno Pacific, followed by a 5 p.m. home exhibition Friday against UC Merced. Women's tennis opens its 2026 season on the road at FUC Davis Saturday, followed by a 1:30 p.m. home match Sunday. Swimming & diving competes at home this weekend against Simon Fraser and Cal State East Bay. Women's basketball hosts Washington State Thursday, and men's basketball welcomes WCC newcomer Seattle at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Monday, Jan. 19 - Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving at UC Santa Barbara, 10 a.m. - Pacific continues its road swing of January, competing as a visitor for the first time since 2020 at UC Santa Barbara. The Tigers and Gauchos met earlier this season as part of the PAC Invite from Oct. 3-4. The Gauchos took home first place on both sides with 1,436 points for the women and 918.5 for the men. Pacific collected 894 on the women's side for the second spot of the four participating programs while the men earned 757.5 points for third place.

Thursday, Jan. 22 - Women's Water Polo hosts Fresno Pacific, 6 p.m. - Pacific opens the season with a home match for the first time since 2020. The Tigers return a strong core of juniors that includes Ella Cowan, Anna Crum and Alicia Petkov who combined for 97 goals last season. Starting goalkeeper Maja Lizy Dulic returns for her junior season after playing nearly the entire way in net for Pacific last year.

Thursday, Jan. 22 - Women's Basketball (7-11, 2-5 WCC) hosts Washington State (4-17, 3-5 WCC), 6 p.m. - Sophomore Winner Bartholomew is coming off a career best 28-point game against LMU as the Tigers meet the Cougars for the first time since last season's WCC Tournament. Bartholomew has been dominant for Pacific over the past three games, averaging 22 points per game. 

Friday, Jan. 23 - Men's Tennis (1-0) vs. UC Santa Barbara (1-0), 10 a.m. - The first of two meetings with the out of conference foe Gauchos, Pacific faces its first Division One opponent of the season on a neutral court. Junior Christof Schaertlin Coffey made quick work of his singles opposition on Sunday, taking a quick 6-1, 6-0 win. A Tigers win would be the first over UCSB since 2016.

Friday, Jan. 23 - Women's Water Polo hosts UC Merced, 5 p.m. - Pacific wraps up the weekend with an exhibition against UC Merced. It will be the team's last appearance at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center until March 7.

Saturday, Jan. 24 - Men's Tennis (1-0) vs. New Mexico - OR - UCLA - The final game of the ITA's kickoff weekend, Pacific will either meet either New Mexico for the first time since 2019, or site host UCLA for the first time since 2005. Sophomores Niv Zuckerman continued the perfect start to his career, pulling wins in both singles and doubles while Vraj Patel moved to 12-0 in doubles play in his career.

Saturday, Jan. 24 - Women's Tennis at UC Davis, 12 p.m. - Pacific kicks off the 2026 spring season with a rematch with UC Davis. In last season's match juniors Milena Maiorova and Indiya McLeod helped the Tigers grab the doubles point from the Aggies but conceded all six singles points. The Tigers are 1-4 this decade against UCD.

Saturday, Jan. 24 - Women's Basketball (7-11, 2-5 WCC) at San Francisco (11-7, 4-3 WCC), 2 p.m. - Last season the Tigers and Dons split home victories as Pacific searches for its first win at the Sobrato Center since 2019. Sophomore Daria Nestorov will be a driving force if Pacific is able to achieve that - last time out she matched her career high eight assists. On the season she averages five assists per game and ranks 43rd in total assists and 38 in assists per game.

Saturday, Jan. 24 - Men's Basketball (13-8, 4-4 WCC) hosts Seattle (13-7, 2-5 WCC), 4 p.m. - The Tigers will take on WCC newcomer Seattle in the first meeting between the two programs since Pacific won 74-54 at home on Dec. 16, 1984. It will be the 13th-ever meeting between the two schools, dating back to 1956-57. Pacific holds a 3-1 edge at home. This season, Pacific is a perfect 8-0 at the Alex G. Spanos Center and 3-0 in conference.

Saturday, Jan. 24 - Sunday, Jan. 25 - Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving hosts Simon Fraser and Cal State East Bay, 11 a.m. - Pacific competes for the final time at home, hosting Simon Fraser and Cal State East Bay in a two-day meet from the Eberhardt Aquatics Center. The Tigers will honor their senior class on Saturday, which consists of seven men's and women's swimmers.

Sunday, Jan. 25 - Women's Tennis hosts Fresno State, 1:30 p.m. - Another rematch from last season, Pacific is going for the first triumph over Fresno State since 2020. Junior Nahreen Cheam had taken the first set when play was halted at Fresno State.
