PULLMAN, Wash. – Fresh off a historic campaign from a year ago, the Pacific men's golf lifts the lid on its 2025-26 season at the Palouse Collegiate, hosted by Washington State from Tuesday, Sept. 9 to Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
For a second consecutive season, the Tigers begin their season at the Palouse Collegiate, taking part in the two-day, 12-team tournament that features four West Coast Conference opponents in Oregon State, Seattle, Santa Clara and host Washington State.
"The team has been working hard and is looking forward to the start of the season," Pacific head coach
John Cook said. "Most of the guys have seen the course from last year and will use that knowledge to help us this week."
Senior
Travis Robbie leads the core of Pacific returners from a remarkable 2024-25 campaign, spearheading the top of the lineup for the first tournament of the year. Robbie secured a pair of top three finishes last season with an individual stroke average of 71.5. Robbie was crowned champion of the 2024 Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational last year with a 13-under par. In last year's Palouse Collegiate, Robbie made his Tigers' debut, finishing in the middle of the pack.
Senior
Timothy Jung follows Robbie in the lineup after collecting a pair of top five placements early during his junior campaign. Jung was one of four Tigers to finish under par in the 2024 Palouse Collegiate across the two days.
Sophmore
Felix Bouchard, the lone newcomer on this year's squad, is suited up to make his Pacific debut in the No. 3 hole at the Palouse Collegiate. The native of Montreal, Quebec competed in three events for Kansas during his freshman season. Bouchard recorded a scoring average of 73.71 with a pair of rounds in the 60s.
Redshirt junior
Deitrek Gill and senior
Ian Fritz round out the remainder of the Pacific lineup. Both participated in last year's Palouse Collegiate, scoring under par performances in their season openers. For Gill, his ten-under par ranked him among the top ten in the field at this event last season. Sophomore
Josh Stuart is set to make his first Pacific appearance outside of participation in a Stockton-hosted event, playing as the lone Tiger individual this week.
The course at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club is a par 72 with 7,308 yards.
36 holes will be played on Tuesday, beginning with a shotgun start time at 8 a.m., followed by the final round on Wednesday starting at 7:45 a.m. in a shotgun format.
