HAYWARD, Calif. – The Pacific women's swim team took to the pool for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign, securing a 147.5-114.5 victory over Cal State East Bay on Friday afternoon at Pioneer Pool.
The Tigers posted nine first place finishes over the Pioneers, utilizing a strong second half on the 14-event list to take home the first win of the season. Senior
Lilliana Noriega was one of eight different Tigers to win a top spot, cementing a time of 1:23.08 in the 150 yard freestyle.
Sophomore
Josephine Fields served a standout performer for Pacific, finishing first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.15 and in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 52.51.
Making her first appearance as a Tiger, redshirt junior
Laureen Roussel notched a first-place time in the 150 yard breaststroke, clocking in at 1:45.94.

Diana Chan put together a nice outing in the 150 yard backstroke, claiming the No. 1 spot with a span of 1:31.76.
Friday's win marks the first time the Tigers have defeated the Pioneers on the road, improving their all-time record to 5-1.
Following the victory, the women return to Stockton and join the men for Pacific's home opener against Fresno Pacific tomorrow at noon at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center. The Tigers seek to continue its winning streak over the Sunbirds on Saturday.
