This Week in Pacific Athletics

STOCKTON, Calif. – Swimming & diving gets underway this week when the women head to Cal State East Bay on Friday, followed by the home opener Saturday for both the men and women against Fresno Pacific at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center. No. 9 men's water polo will host a marquee match-up against No. 2 USC under the lights Friday. Men's and women's soccer will host their first WCC games as the men battle LMU on Saturday and the women against Portland on Sunday.

Friday, Sept. 26 -
No. 9 Men's Water Polo hosts No. 2 USC, 7 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 27 - Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving hosts Fresno Pacific, 12 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 27 - Men's Soccer hosts LMU, 4 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 28 - Women's Soccer hosts Portland, 12 p.m.
 
Monday, Sept. 22 - Tuesday, Sept. 23 - Men's Golf at The Tindall (Bremerton, Wash.) - The Pacific men's golf program remains in the Evergreen State for The Tindall, hosted by Washington. The Tigers are coming off of a third-place finish at the Palouse Collegiate in the season opener.

Wednesday Sept. 24 - Women's Soccer (3-3-2) at San Diego (3-0-4), 7 p.m. - The Tigers begin West Coast Conference action on the road, facing San Diego at Torero Stadium. While San Diego remained undefeated during its non-conference slate, Pacific rides a three-game unbeaten streak into the Wednesday tilt.

Thursday, Sept. 25 - Volleyball (6-5) at Portland (5-6), 6 p.m. - The start of conference play sees the Tigers head up to the Chiles Center to take on Portland. In the series history, Pacific holds a 21-4 advantage, including sweeping the season series the past two seasons. Over the weekend, graduate Olivia Keller reached 300 career kills to lead the Pacific offense.

Friday, Sept. 26 - Women's Swimming & Diving at Cal State East Bay, 12 p.m. - The Pacific women's swim and dive program lifts the lid on its 2025-26 campaign in Hayward. The Tigers defeated the Pioneers in Stockton last season by a 195-66 margin.

Friday, Sept. 26 - No. 9 Men's Water Polo (6-2) hosts No. 2 USC (10-1), 7 p.m. - Pacific will be going up against its second consecutive top-three opponent after facing No. 3 Cal in its last regular season match-up. The last two times USC came to Stockton, the Tigers came out victorious as Pacific won 15-13 in 2022 and 12-11 in 2019. The Trojans were national runner-ups last season.

Saturday, Sept. 27 - Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving hosts Fresno Pacific, 12 p.m. - Both swim and dive programs look ahead to their home opener at the Eberhardt Aquatics Center against Fresno Pacific. The men look to build off of a MPSF conference championship from last season.

Saturday, Sept. 27 - Volleyball (6-5) at Oregon State (6-4), 1 p.m. - Entering the opening weekend of the WCC slate, Pacific sports a winning record for the fourth season in a row. The last time these two schools met, Pacific pulled off the reverse sweep inside the Alex G. Spanos Center. Senior Jayhlin Swain needs just 29 more digs to reach 1000 in her career, and is on pace for 422 this season.

Saturday, Sept. 27 - Men's Soccer (2-6) hosts LMU (4-3-1), 4 p.m. - It's the West Coast Conference opener for the Pacific men's soccer program, hosting the Lions at Knoles Field on Saturday afternoon. Senior Luca Baltzer enters the match-up with a point in three of his last four contests.

Sunday, Sept. 28 - Women's Soccer (3-3-2) hosts Portland (3-2-3), 12 p.m. - The Tigers get squared away for their WCC home opener against the Pilots at Knoles Field. Pacific last played a home game on Sept. 1 where they drew against UC San Deiego on Senior Day.

Sunday, Sept. 28 - No. 9 Men's Water Polo (6-2) at No. 17 UC Santa Barbara (11-9), 12 p.m. - The Tigers hit the road for their final game before West Coast Conference play. Pacific has been led by the freshman duo of Apostolos Georgaras and Borisz Kasa-Gal who've scored 35 and 25 goals, respectively.
