Tigers Fall in Regular Season Finale to Oregon State

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific softball program honored its 11 seniors with a special pre-game ceremony to commemorate their countless hours of dedication to the program. Following the celebration, the team took the field for one final time in the 2025 season, but ultimately fell 9-0 in five innings to Oregon State at Bill Simoni Field on Sunday afternoon.

Oregon State (22-21, 5-6 WCC) was powered by four home runs on the afternoon that scored six of the Beavers' nine runs.

The Pacific (16-34, 5-10 WCC) offense was paced by two of its seniors, Kyla Eck and Nina Davis. The pair each tallied singles while junior Olivia Silvestre led the game off with a double for the team's third hit.

Fellow seniors Desiree Smith and Hannah Glad took the circle for Pacific, with the former drawing the start and was ultimately tagged with the loss for a final record of 2-9.

Glad's relief appearance saw the senior throw four innings and give up three runs on six hits.

Sophomore Justice Alcaraz threw the final inning – giving up three runs (two earned) on two hits, walking two and striking out two more.

All 11 seniors were featured in the contest – with first base held down first by Delaney Scully before giving way to Stephanie Tupper.

Nikki Enriquez was in the starting nine at second base and was lifted in the fifth inning for Eck. Seniors Emily Budelli and Talissa Montez patrolled right field. Senior Aly Waltermeyer was featured in a pinch-hit situation while Emma Dazell played as the designated player.

The program is set to return 16 players to next season's roster.
