STOCKTON, Calif. – On Friday afternoon, women's tennis head coach Mary Beth Gunn announced the return of Cindy Ung to the program, following three seasons at CSUN.

Ung last took the court for the Matadors during the 2023-24 season having missed the 2024-25 season due to injury.

During her last season of competition, she mainly focused on the doubles game and garnered 9-6 record on court two on her way to an All-Big West Honorable Mention selection – highlighted by a win over a ranked Washington State team.

"We are so excited to have Cindy joining our team. She has a proven record of success and will come in and make an immediate impact. She is a great student-athlete who works hard on the court and in the classroom," Gunn said.

Ung began her career at Pacific, competing for the Tigers during the 2021-22 season where she tallied a 6-4 doubles record with Alexis Sam on courts two and three and a 4-1 singles spanning courts three through six.
