SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The 2025 campaign came to a close as the Pacific baseball program dropped a 9-3 decision Saturday afternoon at Fowler Park.
The Tigers (20-36, 8-16 WCC) reached the 20-win mark for the first time since the 2019 season this year under first-year head coach
Reed Peters, closing the final game of the regular season against the Toreros (25-28, 19-5 WCC) today.
Sophomore
Braeden Schnabel collected a multi-hit performance and scored the first Tigers' run this afternoon that gave Pacific an early lead. After a 2-2 tie after three innings, San Diego's bats came to life and ultimately held on for the 9-3 result.
The Tigers used a trio of seniors to start the game with senior
Adan Perez making his 13th start on the year. Senior
Ethan Shaver was productive in relief, going a game-high 3.1 innings with one earned run and three strikeouts.
With the final regular season series in the books, the Tigers look ahead to the 2026 season where they look to build upon four conference series wins and a 20-win campaign.
