STOCKTON, Calif. – Softball junior
Jordan Hayes was selected to her second WCC All-Academic Team honor in as many years as she headlined a Pacific program that tied for the most representation on the All-Academic Team.
Hayes, a mathematics major, made 42 starts this season at third base and drove in nine runs on 21 hits this season. The junior was known primarily for her defensive prowess.
She has also been previously selected to the CoSida Academic All-District team.
Fellow junior
Amanda Bricker qualified for the All-Academic Honorable Mention in her first season of eligibility as she pursues a degree in Speech-Language pathology. She started 40 games for Pacific on the season and was top-three on the club in doubles, triples, and home runs.
Senior
Emily Budelli was also selected to the honorable mention team as she graduated with a Business Administration degree specializing in Management and Human Resources. The senior was a career .250 hitter who started 82 of the 103 games she appeared in. In qualifying, Budelli made her first appearance on the team.
Also making her first appearance on the honorable mention roster, junior
Allie Capello is pursuing a degree in Pre-Pharmacy. A starter in 43 games this season, the junior ripped seven doubles and put four swings over the fence to aid Pacific's efforts.
Senior
Nina Davis completed and received her Psychology degree recently and was rewarded for her efforts with an honorable mention appearance. She started 19 of her 26 appearances and produced two doubles and three RBIs for the Tigers.
A critical utility piece for the program, junior
Asia Lee qualified for the honorable mention team as she continued towards her Biological Sciences degree. Lee made 26 appearances for Pacific this season, compiling a .258 batting average with a double and two RBIs.
Making 46 starts at first base, senior
Delaney Scully made the honorable mention team as she now completed her Speech-Language Pathology degree. Scully has twice been a member of the WCC All-Academic team and previously a CoSida Academic All-District selection. Scully started 190 games during her tenure in Stockton and hit eight home runs and drove in 67 runs.
Rounding out the honorable mention selections is junior
Olivia Silvestre. She is in her first season of eligibility and is currently pursuing a Geological and Environmental Sciences degree. Silvestre started all 50 games for the Tigers this year and produced a final ledger of a .405 batting average, 64 hits, 15 doubles, eight homers and 26 RBIs. She also walked 25 times.
