Women’s Tennis Drops Home Match to Pepperdine

Box Score STOCKTON, Calif. – At the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center on Friday afternoon, the Pacific women's tennis team put up a valiant fight against Pepperdine but ultimately fell 4-0.

Sophomore Rayna Sugai was in position to force a third set when play was halted. She led the second set 4-2 after dropping set one 6-3. Fellow sophomore Milena Maiorova also had the ability to force a third set as she was tied 3-3 in the second set.

Coming up next for the team, Pacific (5-15, 0-7 WCC) will celebrate its four seniors on Saturday prior to the match against LMU. First serve in doubles is scheduled for 11 a.m.
