Box Score 2 FRESNO, Calif. – Pacific concluded play at the Bulldog Classic with a doubleheader against Nevada, falling 11-3 in game one before dropping a 6-3 decision in game two Sunday morning at the Margie Wright Diamond.
GAME 1
The Tigers (9-12) were placed on the back foot early after surrendering five runs to Nevada (19-5) in the opening frame and never recovered. Senior
Delaney Scully was responsible for two of Pacific's three runs in the first game, driving in one via an RBI single in the first before drawing an errant throw in the fourth to plate another.
Junior
Amanda Bricker plated the other run, also in the fourth inning, on an RBI single of her own. It was part of a three-hit game for the infielder that included a double, she now has four on the season.
Junior
Olivia Silvestre added to her torrid campaign, notching two more hits to bring her hitting streak to seven games.
In the circle, and taking the loss, for the Tigers was sophomore
Justice Alcaraz who dropped to 5-3. This game was the first time Pacific has lost when Alcaraz has given up more than three runs pitching this season.
GAME 2
Pacific got out of the gate strong, scoring all three runs in the opening two innings. Scully tallied another RBI in the first and then Silvestre plated two on an RBI double. The junior outfielder finished this game two-for-three with two doubles, her hitting streak is now eight games.
Freshmen
Jayleen Scott and
Peyton Clifford also notched doubles in the contest.
Senior
Desiree Smith navigated all seven innings for the Tigers and was tagged with the loss to move to 1-3 after a final stat line of seven innings pitched, nine hits, six runs, five earned, three walks and three strikeouts.
UP NEXT
The Tigers have one more game on the road, going to UC Davis on Wednesday, before playing the next five at home – beginning with a three-game series against Idaho State on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be a doubleheader beginning at noon and Sunday a single game, also at noon.

Pacific rounds out its weekend in Fresno with a doubleheader against Nevada on Sunday. The first game starts at 9:30 a.m. with game two immediately following.
