STANFORD, Calif. – Pacific's beach volleyball program completed its part in the Battle of the Bay with 5-0 losses to both Stanford and Santa Clara on Saturday morning from the campus of Stanford.

Sophomore Makayla Beckett and senior Ashley Davies held an early lead over Stanford (7-3) but ultimately conceded the match in the third set.

The rest of the team did not fare much better, falling in straight sets on the remaining courts, a trend that carried over to the Santa Clara (4-4) match where the team again fell in straight sets on all five courts.

Up next for the Tigers, they head up to Sacramento, Calif. To face Sacramento State and San Jose State on Mar. 8 at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
