Box Score SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – Pacific women's tennis blanked Dominican 7-0 on Wednesday at the Castellucci Family Tennis Center to tally the first win of the Mary Beth Gunn era.

Freshman Maggie Hoe/sophomore Leyanne Hirota notched a brisk 6-0 win on court three and then senior Alexis Sam/sophomore Rayna Sugai earned a 6-2 win on court two to quickly earn the doubles point in Pacific's (1-2) favor. Straight set singles wins from Sugai, Hoe and sophomore Indiya McLeod clinched the Tiger victory before Carmichael, Maiorova, and Sam all collected singles wins of their own to ensure the shutout triumph.

It marked the second time since 2011 that Pacific swept a team 7-0 on the road.

Today's match precedes the program's home opener on Saturday when UC Davis comes to the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. First serve for the doubles is set for 12 p.m.
